AEK Athens
I went to Athens recently and found a new team to support. My friend told me they are not the best team but I support Tottenham Hotspur FC so what’s new? Apparently they don’t have a ground and the fans are rowdy (they were banned from their Europa cup game again Dundee UTD), but I don’t care I just like their logo so I brought a lighter and key ring home. Next time I will by their shirt, maybe they can play in the football stadium used for the Olympics? But judging by the below video it’s probably not a good idea.

Wayne's World
Now, I love football I really do, but sometimes I just get bored with the whole circus that surronds it
Take Wayne Rooneys off the pitch antics
I switch on the radio and professional pundits (well ex football players) are debating it, I switch on the 24 hour sports TV channel (in HD) and they’re banging on about it. And to make things worse both of these well known established broadcasters have the word sport in their name
So where is the Sport then?!?
Wayne Rooney maybe our next great hope but what he does off the pitch really doesn’t concern me
When I pick up the paper all I want to know is the team formation or a decent write up on the game not how many hookers Rooney has supposedly slept with
This brings me to my next point
Has English football become so poor that sports journalist have resorted to reporting on player’s sex lives just to fill pages?
Judging by the recent results (Liverpool 1 Blackpool 2 anyone?) I think not. So enough with the lazy journalism and lets concentrate on the beautiful game that we all love.
If only Rooney could keep his eye on the ball
